*drumrolls* *confettis flying* *a series of applause ensued* Last week, it was our Table Topics and International Speech Contests! Yaaay! We were lucky to get an evening free of rain, and got 63 attendees.  A contest always means a lot, a lot.  It's the time to see the improvements of our members since the previous contest (insert the euphoria of mentors cheering their mentees, friends pushing each other to join the contest, and the classic nervousness before the one minute of silence is up). It's the time to listen, and to listen well. Evaluation and Humorous Speech Contests 2015

L ast Saturday we held Evaluation and Humorous Speech Contest s for Jakarta Motivators Toastmasters Club. As always, the contest mean t a lot for all fellow T oastmasters. Those who join ed the contest we re hoping to see the improvements in delivering speeches, whilst those who s a t as audiences we re hoping to gain various benefits from the content of contestants speeches.  We were very lucky, it was bright Saturday, and the weather wasn’t hot eventhough the contest started at 10 AM until 1 PM. The venue was Rempah Iting Restaurant which wa s located in Sunda Street number 7 (near Sarinah Dept. Store, behind The Harvest). The place was really homey, it presented such a warm ambiences for those who attended the event. Contest Master Tantia, Sample Speaker Kashish and Contest Chair Yoga Kashish in action!
